WHO ARE WE?

We are Jim and Rebekah Maddock. We have lived in Kawakawa Bay since 1990. We have always enjoyed getting out in the backblocks of NZ and are mindful of the need to preserve our native flora and fauna for ourselves and for future generations. It is great to be able to do this in the backyard – walking out the back door and straight into the conservation project. And we always need a project...

The Mātai Kōkako Conservation Project land lies to the south of Kawakawa Bay, 3 km south of the village on Kawakawa-Ōrere Rd.
